(PCM) Over 50 poisonous snakes were recently removed from a Tennesse church. The snakes were being used as part of the worship and services in the church and the pastor is claiming that their removal is infringing on his religious rights.
Authorities who removed the snakes claim that the snakes were not properly housed and that they posed a danger to the congregation, especially the elderly and young children who could end up getting bit.
The snakes have been relocated to a nearby zoo, but the pastor intends to fight for their return and says that snakes will continue to be part of their worship.
