Over $80,000 Dollars Worth Of Cheese Stolen In Florida

(PCM) Of all the random things in the world to steal, it is quite surprising that someone would heist a truck trailer carrying about $85,000 worth of mozzarella cheese.  The incident occurred in at a truck stop in Summerfield, Florida, where a refrigerated trailer carrying the cheese was in router from Michigan to the Hungry Howies Pizza distribution center in Lakeland, Florida.

The trailer was left in the truck stop parking lot by the driver and his girlfriend while it was being checked on by a mechanic. When they went back to check on the trailer in the lot, that is when they noticed that it was missing. Authorities also claim that at 2007 Kensworth hauler was also stolen from the lot, so it appears that is what the thieves used to hoist the trailer containing the cheese. According to the company there was enough cheese inside to make thousands of pizza pies.
