(PCM) Police in Pennsylvania are just as perplexed as the pastor who was accidentally mailed ten pounds of marijuana. The pastor claimed that she received a UPS package to her home in Yeadon, PA which contained the drugs and she immediately contacted the local authorities. The package was originally shipped from Sacramento, California and she ended up opening the box when she arrived at her Southwest Philadelphia ministry only to discover that the box contained several bundles of marijuana which were wrapped up in cellophane and stuffed inside of a plastic bucket.
Of course the pastor is now worried for her own safety, as she fears the packages intended recipients may come looking for the package which landed at her address by mistake. The authorities in Yeadon claim that this is not the first time they have received reports about someone using a stranger address to mail drugs to themselves and are currently planning on investigating the incident further.
They are making an attempt to gain access to surveillance footage from the UPS shipping location in California where the package was dropped off to see if they can identify the suspects who originally shipped the package. Thus far they have had no luck. A similar situation occurred at the City Blue retail store location in Upper Darby, PA where instead of receiving a shipment of menswear they were expecting, the store received a package containing ninety pounds of marijuana instead that had a street value estimated at around $270,000.
