(PCM) We couldn’t make up this headline if we tried! A truck carrying various marijuana edibles and candies caught fire on a Delaware bridge and literally went up in smoke causing quite a traffic back-up and several hilarious memes.
Thankfully no was injured in the blaze and authorities are still investigating just what caused the RV truck which was carrying nearly $120,000 worth of marijuana-infused candy, lollipops, cookies, and brownies to go up in flames.
The RV belonged to company called Weed World, who were out on an East Coast college tour. Weed World Candies, established in 1999, sends painted RVs around the country every year to promote the decriminalization and legalization of marijuana. It was currently en-route to Temple University in Philadelphia, PA when the fire broke out.
The truck was filled with about 19 varieties of lollipops, as well as marijuana-laced rice crispy treats, brownies, ice cream and popcorn. The RV and it’s contents were completely destroyed. So much for trying to pick up scraps everyone … you are out of luck!
But, rest assured a Weed World company spokesperson said that a new RV will be hitting the road to complete the tour. Check out their webpage for an updates list of dates and appearances.
