(PCM) An ebay user by the name of wfatzinger is auctioning off a 2007 13-inch MacBook, but not just any MacBook, this one comes haunted with its’ very own ghostly entity.
Wfatzinger started off the auction asking $75 for the supposedly “haunted laptop” and the bidding has skyrocketed to over $5,000 with four days still left in the auction.
The ebay user who says that he is amateur sketch artist, claims that one night he accidentally left the laptop in a graveyard next to an abandoned mental asylum while he was there sketching some of the grave stones. He says that he was able to retrieve the laptop the next day and it appeared to be in perfectly working condition.
The jury is still out as to whether or not this is some sort of joke, but the user goes on to say in the item description that when he brought the computer home, that is when things began to get weird.
First, he claims that all the music in his iTunes library had become scary or haunted sounds/songs, the desktop background was changed to a scary photo, and then the following week he and his wife noticed that items in their home began to become mysteriously rearranged.
The man also claims that he saw the computer levitating and the screen and keyboard would open and shut very quickly, almost as if the laptop was trying to speak. As if that was not enough to make us think that this is some sort of joke, the man also says that the computer attempts to communicate with him by picking up a pen and holds onto between the keyboard and the screen and composes notes on pieces of printer paper from the couples home office. Yeah sure, buddy!
The man says that he feels that the spirit embodying the laptop was most likely from a different time period long before computers, as it is completely unaware at how to navigate the machine it currently inhabits. He also goes on to say that he attempted to take the laptop to Apple’s Genuis bar but was ultimately escorted off the premises and that he tried to go to a psychic medium to get a letter of authenticity created, but the store-front mysteriously vanished.
It is worth noting that the laptop comes with a forged letter of authenticity from wtfatzinger himself as he thought that would be the next best thing, of course. We are thinking that this has to be some sort of joke, but then again stranger things have happened. Be sure to share your thoughts!
