(PCM) A 28-year old Canadian man by the name of Jordan Axani recently posted on Reddit that he is in search of a new female companion to take on a journey around the world. There is only one slight catch … you must have the same name as his ex-girlfriend who was originally supposed to go on the trip, so that you would be able to use her plane ticket.
Axani obviously purchased the trip before he and his girlfriend split and the three-week excursion will include stops in Milan, Paris, Bangkok and New Delhi. In his post on Reddit, Axani says “In March I booked a fairly wicked trip around the world for this Christmas for my ex and I. While our relationship has come to a close, I am still planning on going on the trip and she is not (naturally). And because I hate the idea of a ticket around the world going to waste, I am looking for a Canadian named Elizabeth Gallagher who could use the ticket.”
Axani goes on to say that he is not in search of any financial or romantic compensation for the trip. He says that he only wishes that the person enjoy the trip and it bring them happiness, and if they felt like dropping him a few hundred bucks he would not complain.
Thus far, Axani’s post has received at least one response on Reddit from a fellow Canadian by the name of Liz “Elizabeth” Gallagher, however she jokingly responds that she is old enough to be Axani’s mother and if no younger person happens to step up it would certainly be an interesting journey.
